School Readiness

This program is designed to successfully ease parents and their pre-school children, ages 3 to 6, into the school system.  It introduces children to educational games and songs, as well as provides the opportunity to interact with other children their age.   The program aims to prepare participants for the experience of starting school and teaches them to cooperate, share and participate with their peers, all while having fun in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

The School Readiness Program runs between May and August.  The exact dates and times vary from year to year, so contact the Centre for details or registration information.

Donations for the clothing project can be dropped off at the Centre at any time.  However, we can only accept clean, seasonal clothing of good (wearable) quality.  Thank you to our community donors!
